Kris Rugloski Completed 100 Miles at World’s Toughest Mudder 2022
Kris Rugloski not only beat the female record for most miles completed at a World’s Toughest Mudder, but she’s also the first female to complete 100 miles at the event. The previous female record was 90 miles.
What is World’s Toughest Mudder?
World’s Toughest Mudder is a 24 hour event where only the bravest people compete for the grand prize of $10,000… or to just torture themselves. This year’s World’s Toughest Mudder was held in Atmore, Alabama. Participants complete as many 5-mile laps as they can in a 24 hour period. Keep in mind, there’s 20 obstacles packed into each lap, and you can only skip one if you complete a successful challenge or penalty.
Challenges and penalties can be just as hard as obstacles once participants start getting delusional in the early hours. Who would want to eat a hot habanero pepper on an empty stomach after running 50 miles? No thanks.
Are you up for the Challenge in 2023?
You should, it’s the best event of the year. We’re headed to Dallas in 2023 – learn more here
